"Mom! Look what I made, it says: I love Daddy, Mommy, Jackson, Dylan, and Brooke." I chuckle and say, "What about Griffin?" "Oh yah, I forgot about him, and you know that Brooke (Bischoff) is my sister anyways."

"Mom. This one says: I love Lilly and Corbin, Kyla, Ryley, Ms. Hilary, COman......and the Haiti girl, but I don't know her name." I reply, "You love someone from the country Haiti?" "Yah, I saw her on TV when they got hurt. I love her, but I don't know her name."

When was that last time you rocked out.....in a diaper?

Griff was insistant on listening to some tunes the other day so I hooked him up. In that moment, I either had time for music or for getting him dressed, obviously you see where my priorities lie.

Can anyone guess what he is listening to?

Dominican Republic

We visited Dominican Republic while cruising the Carribbean in January. We took an off shore excursion through the mangrove forest. It was raining, but warm. We cruised through looking at the wildlife and foliage. Just before we hopped in the kayaks, we toured through the very same cave that SURVIVOR SAMANA tribal council was held in. We only spent about 8 hours in the DR. If we had stayed much longer we would have felt the EARTHQUAKE which shook the very next day. It was a little strange sailing along in the lap of luxury while so many were suffering just around the corner. Our ship started a fund for Haiti and the cruiseline was matching donations. Hopefully everyone was putting up as much cash as they were gambling away every night. I'd like to think so. We certainly did.

Backsplash?....Check!

Our kitchen backsplash is one of the lingering projects from building our house. It only took a couple of Saturdays and it makes all the difference in the look of the room. Nice going Devin!

Baptism Day!

Jackson was baptized today a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I thought I would be weepy, I thought I would be a wreck as I watched him grow up a little bit more. I was surprised to be filled with nothing but joy and peace. It was a wonderful meeting. The spirit was present and it was a joyous occasion.

I'm steppin' things up!

Okay, so I just did STEP AEROBICS!! Not a DVD, because I don't have one. I used to have a Jane Fonda on VHS that I used to do in 2000 and 2001 very frequently. No video, so I just put in some hip music and started stepping like a crazy person. I think I have a talent and a possible career option, who knows? I might just do it again sometime to spice things up some more. When was the last time you stepped it up?
